On the holding of a round table by the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» and the state budgetary institution of the Astrakhan region «State Archives of the Astrakhan Region»

The institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» together with the state budgetary institution of the Astrakhan region «State Archives of the Astrakhan Region» on August 27, 2025 held a round table in an online format on the issues of organizing the use of archival documents as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Deputy Director – Chief Curator of Funds Lyudmila Tsalabanova introduced colleagues to the history and activities of the archive. The employees of the Department of Scientific Use of Documents and Information of the Astrakhan and Mogilev archives shared their experience in preserving the historical truth and memory of the heroic feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War, and the projects that were implemented for the 80th anniversary of the Victory over the Nazi invaders. Particular attention was paid to the work on popularization among young people.

The meeting with colleagues allowed to discuss a wide range of issues in the field of archival affairs of the Mogilev and Astrakhan regions and further cooperation in the framework of the publication and exhibition activities of the two archives.
