The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus presented a documentary exhibition on rule-making activity
On July 29, 2025, an extended meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus on topical issues of rule-making activity was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
As part of this event, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB) prepared a documentary exhibition on rule-making activity, and a banner exhibition «Let’s Restore Belarus Together!» was also presented.
The development of a normative document is a complex process that includes several stages: from planning and preparing a project to adoption and official publication. In Belarus, as in other countries, the rule-making process is regulated by law and includes a number of mandatory procedures aimed at ensuring the quality and compliance of the developed documents with the requirements of the law and public benefit.
At the exhibition, NARB presented: Instructions of the Presidium of the Supreme Council and the Council of Ministers of the BSSR on the preparation of draft legislative acts, proposals and conclusions on improving legislation; documents on the preparation of draft legislative and regulatory acts by ministries; conclusion of the Main Expert and Legal Department of the Secretariat of the Council of the Republic on the draft Law of the Republic of Belarus on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus on Issues of Law-making Activity; the order of the National Center of Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus on the publication of the National Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus, and other documents.
