On the visit of an employee of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» to the military history museum named after Hero of the Soviet Union K.S.Zaslonov

As part of the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the head of the department of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» Tatyana Shevchik visited the military history museum named after Hero of the Soviet Union K.S.Zaslonov, which is located in the city of Orsha.

The museum’s exhibits cover the events of the entire period of the Great Patriotic War in the Orsha region. They allow us to imagine the power of patriotism, the desire of the Soviet people to win over the invaders, the occupiers. Among the dramatic moments are the line of peaceful life and the first hours of the enemy invasion, the capture of the city; the establishment of the occupation period; Orsha ghetto, execution of Orsha underground fighters as evidence of genocide of the civilian population of Belarus, fatal wounding of Konstantin Sergeyevich Zaslonov.
