Archive-museum revives memory. Exhibition «Each Role is the Main One»dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of People’s Artist of Belarus Stefania Stanyuta

On July 10, 2025, employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) conducted a tour of the exhibition «Each Role is the Main One» for a group of visitors of the State Institution «Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of Zavodskoy District of Minsk» dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of People’s Artist of Belarus Stefania Stanyuta.

Visitors were interested in the documents from the collection of the famous theater and film actress presented at the exhibition. They are well acquainted with Stefania’s work; many of them saw her talented performance on the stage of the Kupala Theater, and some met the legend on the streets of Minsk and in the metro. During the tour, visitors warmly remembered the actress, shared their impressions of her skills and named the roles of Stefania Stanyuta that they remembered most.

Working with social centers is one of the important areas of BGAMLI’s activities. During meetings with age groups, a valuable exchange of experience and cultural and historical information takes place. The most interesting facts told by eyewitnesses of ancient events are carefully collected and recorded by archivists for further work with the relevant documents.
