On the holding of a lecture and a sightseeing tour for students of the school camp of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.37 of Grodno» in the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno as part of the «Archives to School» campaign

On July 8, 2025, a lecture and a sightseeing tour were held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno for students of grades 4-6 of the school camp of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.37 of Grodno» as part of the «Archives to School» campaign, aimed at popularizing archival work and improving the historical and cultural literacy of the younger generation. During the lecture, the children learned about the work of the archive and got acquainted with the rich content of the documents. The schoolchildren also visited the exhibition hall, as well as the laboratory for special processing of archival documents, where they observed the process of restoration and binding of archival documents. Professional archivists demonstrated the methods and technologies used to preserve fragile historical documents, which sparked a keen interest and respect for the work of archivists among schoolchildren.
