On holding a meeting of the work collectives of BelNIIDAD and NIAB, dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People

On June 20, 2025, a general meeting of the workers of BelNIIDAD and NIAB was held, dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People.

The opening speech was made by the director of NIAB M.M.Glushakov, who noted the need to preserve historical memory for the consolidation of Belarusian society and the role of archives in this work.

The director of BelNIIDAD A.E.Rybakov noted that the Day of National Remembrance is an opportunity to honor the feat of the heroes who fought on the war fronts, in partisan detachments and in the underground. Their courage and dedication are an example for the younger generation, inspire the protection of national interests and strengthening the sovereignty of the country.

The report was made by the Deputy Director for Research of BelNIIDAD S.S.Mishuk, who focused on the importance of preserving the historical memory of the tragic events of the Great Patriotic War, emphasizing that the genocide of the Belarusian people is an indisputable fact, confirmed by numerous documentary evidence and archival materials.

In the second part of the meeting of labor collectives, a Single Day of Informing the Population was held on the topic: «Belarus is a Country of Opportunities. Youth Policy at the Present Stage».

The Director of BelNIIDAD A.E.Rybakov noted that the participation of young people in scientific activities is one of the key factors in the success of the country’s innovative development. He emphasized that it is young scientists, thanks to their fresh outlook and modern approach, who are able to find non-standard solutions to current problems.

The main report within the framework of the Single Day of Informing the Population was made by the Deputy Director for Research S.S.Mishuk, who acquainted those present with the policy pursued in the country based on materials provided by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus.
