Archivists of the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno held an open day as part of the International Archives Week

Archivists of the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno held an open day for first-year students of the specialties «Jurisprudence» and «Accounting, analysis and audit» of the State Educational Institution «Molodechno Trade and Economic College of Belkoopsoyuz» as part of the International Archives Week.

At the beginning of the meeting, the students were given a sightseeing tour with a visit to the archive storage facility and a presentation on the history of the archive. The participants of the event also watched the documentary film «History of the Great Victory», which presented archival footage, chronicles of war and peacetime. The film allowed the students to better understand the heroism and feat of the people during the Great Patriotic War, to see the events through the eyes of those who lived through those years and met the Great Victory.

As part of the meeting, the head of the department of office work and formation of the National Archival Fund I.G.Kutas held a training seminar on the organization and management of office work, the formation of files and the preparation of documents.

The event, organized by the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno, became a vivid example of educational work aimed at popularizing archival work and historical memory.
