Conducting an event within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign for students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.4 of Dzerzhinsk»

On June 6, 2025, Deputy Head of the Department of Document and Information Use M.V.Garelik held a lesson with students of grades 5-7 of Secondary School No.4 of Dzerzhinsk. The children learned about the work of the Belarusian State Film and Photographic Documentation Archive, the history of its formation, learned about audiovisual information carriers – film and photographic film, gramophone records, magnetic tape, video and audio cassettes. A film from the «Open Film Archive» project dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve was shown. The lesson aroused genuine interest and a large number of questions from schoolchildren.
