On holding a seminar at the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin

On June 6, 2025, as part of the International Archives Week, a training seminar for directors of territorial archives of the service area was held at the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin.

The heads of the Berezovsky, Kobrin and Pruzhany district archives took part in the seminar «Conducting an examination of the value of documents stored in territorial archives», conducted by employees of the state archive. The main principles, criteria, features of the examination of the value of documents, drawing up an act on the allocation of documents and files for destruction that are not subject to storage were covered. Particular attention at the seminar was paid to the transfer of documents of permanent storage to the state archive after the examination of the value of the documents.

During the event, a tour of the archive was organized and a documentary film of the BGAKFFD «History of the Great Victory» was shown, created for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
