Employees of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus are the winners of the III competition of amateur art performances among republican archival institutions
On May 29, 2025, the final of the III competition of amateur art performances among republican archival institutions was held in the assembly hall of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.27 of Minsk». The theme of the competition was «Poem of Love».
The following took part in the competition from the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus: Head of the Digitization Sector of the Automated Archival Technologies Department I.D.Zaychenko (S. Yesenin’s poem «Letter to a Woman», genre «Artistic Words»), Leading Archivist of the Publications Department A.S.Ivanenko (M. Safarov, V. Rudnev’s poem «Different Women Wander the World», genre «Artistic Words»), as well as Archivist of the Information Retrieval Systems Department P.E.Kononova with the participation of E.E.Kononova, A.N.Bushkevich and V.I.Shumskaya (dance to the song «Echo of Love», poems by R. Rozhdestvensky, music by E. Ptichkin, genre «Choreographic Creativity»).
The host of the competition was the Head of the Publications Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus U.A.Kolobaeva. Active support for the competition participants was provided by the archive workers who were in the school assembly hall.
Based on the results of the evaluations of the competition committee headed by the Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L.Voinov, the 3rd degree diploma in the nomination «Original Genre» was awarded to I.D.Zaychenko, and the diploma in the nomination «Audience Award» was awarded to P.E.Kononova, E.E.Kononova, A.N.Bushkevich and V.I.Shumskaya.
The annual review-competition of amateur art activities is becoming an important part of the cultural life of the archival industry, creating a space for self-expression of archival institution workers and developing their creative potential.
