Working visit of the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Nikolai Mikhailovich Starovoitov to the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region»

On May 15, 2025, a meeting of the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Nikolai Mikhailovich Starovoitov with representatives of real estate organizations was held at the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region».

As part of the event, the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» presented a documentary exhibition of the most interesting documents from the archive’s funds: personal files of students and teachers of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, filtration and verification files of Soviet citizens driven to forced labor in Germany during the Great Patriotic War, documents from the collection of funds of personal origin.

The guests were also able to get acquainted with the banner exhibition «Again, let’s look closer to the past», created on the basis of archival documents and photographs.

The presented documents aroused keen interest among those present. During the meeting, the director of the archive Svetlana Leonidovna Sharaeva introduced Nikolai Mikhailovich to the main areas of work of the archive, the working conditions of the employees, the archive storage facilities, where the guest was able to get acquainted with modern technologies that meet modern standards and technical requirements necessary for storing and using documents, and visited the laboratory for digitizing archival documents.

At the end of the visit, Nikolai Mikhailovich thanked the archive staff for their well-coordinated work and wished them further fruitful activities.
