Employees of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region took part in the «March of Generations», a parade and a ceremonial rally at the memorial complex in honor of Soviet soldiers-liberators, partisans and underground fighters of the Vitebsk region

On May 9, 2025, the festive events in Vitebsk started at 10:00 from Lenin Square. From here to Victory Square along Lenin Street, the «March of Generations» took place.

In a good mood, smiling, waving flags and balloons, representatives of work collectives, departments and organizations, educational institutions, veterans of the Armed Forces proceeded in a column from Lenin Square to Victory Square.

In the sky above the square, the state flag and the Victory Banner were carried by two helicopters, from which congratulatory leaflets were also scattered.

Then wreaths and flowers were laid at the memorial complex in honor of the Soviet soldiers-liberators, partisans and underground fighters of the Vitebsk region, and a rally was held.

Employees of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region took part in the «March of Generations» and in the ceremonial events on Victory Square.
