Screening of the documentary film «History of the Great Victory» at the State Educational Institution «Lyceum No.1 named after Academician Yu. M. Ostrovsky of Grodno»

On May 8, 2025, the staff of the institution «State Archives of the Grodno Region» organized a screening of the documentary film «History of the Great Victory» for students of the State Educational Institution «Lyceum No.1 named after Academician Yu. M. Ostrovsky of Grodno», created for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.

Head of the Sector for Publication and Archeographic Processing of Documents O. I. Shnek told the students about the creation of the film, as well as about the main stages of the Great Patriotic War, shown in the documentary newsreel.
