Institution «Zonal State Archives in Krichev» during the preparation and holding of an exhibition and a talk, as well as a screening of a documentary film within the framework of the republican campaign «Archives for School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist»

On May 6, 2025, as part of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, within the framework of the republican campaign «Archives for School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist» at the «City Library No.1» leading archivist Victoria Kondratenko prepared a stand exhibition «We Honor and Remember History», and also held a talk «We are True to This Memory» for 10th grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.3 in Krichev». The leading archivist acquainted those present with archival materials confirming the atrocities of the fascists in the Krichev land, eyewitness accounts of the mass murder of civilians, and those who defended our region. The children animatedly shared their impressions, talked about their great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.

At the end of the event, the students were shown the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory», created by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
