On the eve of Victory Day, the management of the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno took part in congratulating former underage prisoners of concentration camps. As part of this noble initiative, five addresses were visited where witnesses of the tragic events of that war live.
Warm words of gratitude for steadfastness, courage and great strength of spirit were addressed to those who endured the cruel trials of childhood, surviving captivity and deprivation. Gifts given as a token of gratitude became a symbol of respect and memory of the fact that their fate and example are an important part of the history of the struggle for life, freedom and independence.
Victory Day is not just a date on the calendar, but a reminder of the heroism and sacrifices for which peace was preserved. Let gratitude and respect for these people never cease to beat in the hearts of generations», noted the director of the zonal state archive I. Z. Pudakevich.
Representatives of the local military unit also presented jubilee medals, emphasizing the importance of the memory of those who steadfastly endured the trials of war and whose destinies will forever remain in the history of the country.
