On the visit to the Arch of Glory in Mogilev and the laying of flowers by an employee of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»
On the eve of May 9 – the day of the Great Victory, the director of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» E.A.Nabokova laid flowers at the memorial complex in memory of the fallen soldiers who liberated the city of Mogilev.
In 1964, memorial plaques were installed on the Arch of Glory in Mogilev, listing the units and formations of the Red Army awarded for participation in World War II with the Order of the Red Banner, Suvorov II degree, Suvorov III degree, and also received the name «Mogilev» during the liberation of the city on June 28, 1944.
The memory of many participants in the liberation of the city is immortalized in the names of streets, parks, squares of Mogilev, on memorial plaques and monuments. Today they have firmly entered history, have become a precious relic of Victory, the pride and glory of the city of Mogilev.
