Patriotism and documentary chronicle of Victory: Molodechno archivists held a film lecture for students of the Belkoopsoyuz Trade and Economic College

Employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Molodechno» held a film lecture with a screening of the film «History of the Great Victory» for 2nd-3rd year students of the specialty «Accounting, Analysis and Control» of the Molodechno Trade and Economic College of Belkoopsoyuz.

Archivist Maria Mechkovskaya told the students about the key moments reflected in the newsreel.

The film lecture allowed the students to get acquainted with important historical events associated with the Great Victory and see the chronicle of those years captured on film. Maria Mechkovskaya dwelt in detail on the key moments of the film, explaining their historical context and significance. After the screening, a discussion took place, during which students shared their impressions, asked questions and reflected on the importance of preserving historical memory.

This format of events helps to develop a respectful attitude towards the past, strengthens patriotism and helps young people better understand the events that influenced the fate of the country. In addition, the film lecture hall provided an opportunity to see archival materials that usually remain out of sight of the general public.
