Zero Injury Week at the Central Laboratory: Safety is our priority

From April 21 to 26, the State Institution «Central Laboratory for Document Preservation of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus» held Zero Injury Week — a series of events as part of a large-scale initiative aimed at strengthening the safety culture and preventing industrial injuries.

The engineering service headed by chief engineer V.A. Vitushko together with the trade union committee organized a series of training sessions on safe working methods, paying special attention to the rules for using personal protective equipment, monitoring working conditions at workplaces, and testing employees on labor safety issues.

In anticipation of the summer season, technical personnel were given theoretical and practical training sessions on working with a lawn mower and a gas trimmer. Participants practiced their skills in practice, and then took a test to consolidate their knowledge.

A training evacuation of employees was also conducted with practicing actions in case of a fire with practical training in extinguishing a source of fire with a fire extinguisher.

Summing up the results of the Week at the meeting, the director of the laboratory Klyuiko V.L. noted the high level of preparation of the above events and the coordinated actions of all employees.
