Visit of Mogilev Customs employees to the State Archives of the Mogilev Region

The State Archives of the Mogilev Region continues a series of events for employees of institutions and enterprises as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and the implementation of the Open Film Archive project. On April 22, 2025, employees of the Mogilev Customs visited the archive with a tour. The tour began with a visit to the archive storage, familiarization with the types of documents and the conditions for their storage.

Then the guests were presented with a banner exhibition «Let’s look back at the past again», dedicated to the history of Mogilev during the Great Patriotic War and the post-war restoration of the city. The tour continued with a visit to the sector for digitizing archival documents, where the participants of the event were able to see the process of digital processing of documents and the technical means used for this. In the assembly hall of the archive, an exhibition of the most interesting archival documents was prepared for customs employees. The guests were very interested in the materials dedicated to the period of the Nazi occupation of Mogilev.

At the end of the event, a documentary film «The History of the Great Victory» was shown, prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents (BSACFPD).
