In Bobruisk, the 85th anniversary of the formation of the 83rd separate engineering and aerodrome Order of the Red Star regiment was celebrated

Events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the formation of the 83rd separate engineering and aerodrome Order of the Red Star regiment were held at the Bobruisk airfield. From the first days of the Great Patriotic War, the regiment’s personnel carried out tasks in front-line conditions – they built and restored airfields, provided flights for aircraft in the rear and at the front.

The event was attended by the director of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Bobruisk» Elena Zayats and the head of the Military-Patriotic Club «Patriot» Tatyana Kosinova with members of the club. The archive interacts with the club as part of the republican campaign «Young Archivist».
