Events held by the staff of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Lida» in the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.6 of Lida named after N.B.Kukonenko»

On 17.04.2025, the archive staff visited the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.6 of Lida named after N.B.Kukonenko» and held a lecture for students of grades 9-11, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The schoolchildren were also presented with a banner exhibition «The Lida region is proud of them», which was based on documents from the fund «Collection of documents of personal origin of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of labor, cultural figures and national economy of Lida and the Lida region». The exhibition presents documents of the veteran of the Great Patriotic War and labor Balabay Zoya Dmitrievna and veteran of the Great Patriotic War and labor, deputy chairman of the Lida District Executive Committee from 1965 to 1986, Baranov Georgy Pavlovich.

As part of the Open Film Archive project, the children were shown the film Liberation, prepared by the institution Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
