The «Archives for School» campaign at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI)

On April 17, 2025, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, a tour was held in the reading room of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as the BSAMLI) for fifth-grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.44 named after Yakub Kolas of Minsk» to the exhibition «Life. With such cunning reasons..», dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the people’s poet of Belarus Ryhor Borodulin.

The curator of the exhibition, leading archivist Natalia Aleksandrovna Mizon introduced the excursionists to the literary and documentary exposition, which was prepared on the basis of archival materials from the BSAMLI funds and presents the rich legacy of the poet. During the excursion, the students had a unique opportunity to see manuscripts, correspondence, creative works, photographs of Rygor Borodulin with his family, friends and colleagues.

The schoolchildren thanked for the deep and informative excursion, noting that they learned a lot about Rygor Borodulin’s personal life, his friendships, translation and social activities.
