On the participation of the work collective of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno in the republican clean-up day

On April 12, 2025, the work collective of the state institution «National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno» took part in the republican clean-up day. The entire adjacent territory of the archive was cleared of garbage, dry grass and leaves, the bushes were trimmed, the railings of the central entrance to the institution were washed. The archivists of the NIAB in Grodno tidied up the burial place in the cemetery on Kosmonavtov Street in Grodno of Aleksey Sergeyevich Katkov, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, director of the Central Historical Archive for 1954-1986.

During the performance of all types of work on cleaning the adjacent territory of the archive, labor protection rules and fire safety rules were observed.

The funds collected by the archive workers were transferred to the current account of the republican clean-up day.
