On the lesson conducted as part of the «Archives for School» campaign by employees of the zonal state archive in Kobrin

On March 14, 2025, on the eve of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the zonal state archive in Kobrin was visited by students of grade 8 «B» of secondary school No.6 in Kobrin.

Archives specialists conducted a lesson for the children, timed to coincide with the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus.

The schoolchildren got acquainted with the display case «The Constitution of the Republic of Belarus – the Basic Law of the State» exhibited in the lobby of the archive building, which presents original documents from the archive funds, reflecting the history of changes and improvements to the main document of the country. In the reading room, students were shown social videos dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and to Victory Day, prepared by the staff of the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Documentation Archive (BGAKFFD) as part of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could».
