Exhibition «Every eye has love» dedicated to the holiday of March 8
The Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art presents the exhibition «Every eye has love» dedicated to the International Women’s Day on March 8, which is a kind of tribute to the outstanding women of Belarus, whose names have forever entered the history of our country.
The head of the department of information, publication and use of documents V.V.Birulya spoke about the features of the exhibition, which presents portraits of famous representatives of culture and art. Their personal funds are carefully stored in the archive-museum. Among them are Pavlina Medelka, Aloisa Pashkevich (Tsotka), Zinaida Astapovich-Bocharova, Larisa Aleksandrovskaya, Raisa Koshelnikova, Rita Mlodek, Stefania Stanyuta, Tamara Uzunova, Alexandra Klimova, Vera Verba, Valentina Kovtun, Alexandra Posledovich. Also presented are friendly caricatures of Vera Verba, Galina Makarova, Stefania Stanyuta, Raisa Borovikova. The portrait exhibition is complemented by heartfelt lines about love, taken from the poems of Belarusian poets and writers Maxim Bogdanovich, Gennady Buravkin, Rygor Borodulin, Arkady Kuleshov, Nil Gilevich and others.
On the eve of the holiday, the female half of the BGAMLI workforce was congratulated by men, and gifts were presented by the chairman of the PPO M.A.Filimontseva.
