Event in honor of Women’s Day at the Rechitsa Agricultural College
On March 5, 2025, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, a lesson on the topic «Real Woman» was held at the Rechitsa State Agricultural College. On the eve of International Women’s Day, employees of the ZGA in Rechitsa told future farmers about the archive’s founder – a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, frontline and partisan nurse Valentina Lutsenko. The students looked at Valentina Mikhailovna’s personal documents with interest.
Then, as part of the «Open Film Archive. We Brought This Day Closer as We Could» project, the BGAKFFD documentary «Chronicle of the Era» was shown. To the 100th Anniversary of Belarusian Cinema», from which college students learned how Belarusian cinema developed, what prominent figures worked in it (V.Turov, V.Korsh-Sablin, Yu.Tarich, etc.) and what remarkable films were shot at the Belarusfilm studio («Forest Tale», «The Clock Stopped at Midnight», «In August 1944..». etc.).
