Participation of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in a documentary exhibition dedicated to International Women’s Day
February 28, 2025, the National Historical Archives of Belarus, together with the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, prepared and placed in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus a documentary exhibition «Female Silhouette against the Background of History» dedicated to International Women’s Day.
The archive presents materials on stands and in display cases that reflect the participation of women in public life in different historical periods. The exhibition displays portraits of representatives of the influential magnate family of Radziwills, various documents on the education, work, charitable activities, and achievements of women in the history and modernity of Belarus.
The exhibition materials relating to the pre-revolutionary period were prepared by Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus Sergei Ryndin.
