BGAMLI at the opening of the exhibition «Laureates of the National Literary Prize of 2024»

On February 28, 2025, employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) took part in the grand opening of the temporary literary and documentary exhibition «Laureates of the National Literary Prize of 2024» within the framework of the project «Literary Gate of the 21st Century», which began its work at the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature.

The curator of the exhibition, head of the scientific and exhibition department of the literary museum Irina Rostislavovna Knyazeva made an opening speech. She emphasized the importance of the National Literary Prize for the development of modern Belarusian literature and expressed hope that the exposition would become a source of inspiration for visitors and help them get to know the works of the laureates better.

The exhibition presents books, newspapers, magazines, manuscripts, documents, photographs, personal belongings of the winners of the 2024 National Literary Prize: Fyodor Gurinovich, Viktor Kuntsevich, Nikolai Mikulich, Vladimir Mozgo, Sergei Mikhovich, Alesya Kuznetsova.

The honorary guests of the event were the winners of the prize – the editor of the newspaper «Selskaya Gaspadarka» Sergei Mikhovich and the poet Vladimir Mozgo.

All the authors awarded the prestigious literary award of the country, with all their dissimilarity, are united by one thing – love for their native land, respect for the traditions laid down in the national literature by prominent predecessors.

The employees of the BGAMLI received an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the best works awarded by the national prize and learn about new authors.
