As part of the «Archives to School» campaign, the «Zonal State Archives in Slutsk» institution held a lesson and an excursion for students of grade 6 «A» of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.12 of Slutsk»
On February 25, 2025, in the Zonal State Archives in Slutsk, as part of the republican campaign «Archives to School», in order to popularize archival activities, a lesson «Love and Know Your Homeland. History for the Sake of Peace» and an excursion for students of grade 6 «A» of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.12 of Slutsk» were held.
Archives employees told schoolchildren about the history of the archive, the main areas of its activities, about the funds and the specifics of working with them. The most interesting and valuable documents stored in the archive were presented to the students.
A sightseeing tour of the archive was conducted for the schoolchildren, during which they visited the archive storage where the students were introduced to the conditions for storing documents and the archive exhibition hall where they were presented with an exhibition of documents «As long as we remember the past, we have a future».
