Signing of a cooperation agreement between BGAML and the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.44 named after Yakub Kolas in Minsk»

On February 18, 2025, as part of the implementation of the pilot project «Young Archivist» and the republican campaign «Archives for School», the director of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko signed a cooperation agreement with the director of the state educational institution «Secondary School No.44 named after Yakub Kolas in Minsk» Olga Vladimirovna Lavysh.

During the event, an agreement was reached on long-term cooperation with the aim of forming moral and patriotic sentiments, increasing civic consciousness and an active civic position among students.

Belarusian language and literature teacher Elena Valeryevna Gnyusevich and 5th grade students conducted a tour of the school museum «Litararyny pakoy Yakub Kolas», which has been operating since November 1969. They told about the exhibits and valuable documents carefully stored in the museum.

Introducing students to the Belarusian national culture will help to foster in children a value-based attitude towards their country and belonging to it.
