On the participation of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus in the «Unity Marathon» in Lida

On January 10-11, 2025, a large-scale social and cultural event «Unity Marathon» was held in Lida. As part of the event, a banner traveling exhibition «Feats and Fates in Documents» was presented. This is a joint project of the Publishing House «SB. Belarus Today», the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents. The exhibition tells the history of the partisan struggle through the prism of the biographies of its participants.

Leading archivist of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, senior researcher at the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus V.P.Garmatny conducted excursions and presentations of the above-mentioned project for representatives of work collectives, schoolchildren and visitors to the event.

In just two days of its work, the exhibition was visited by more than a thousand residents of the city and its guests.
