The Children of the Archive team has prepared two educational works of the video series «Nedzicyachy kazki» and «Backstage»

International Media Marathon «Without limitation: the unconquered» in Mogilev

The International Media Marathon «Without limitation: The Unconquered» was held in Mogilev from November 12 to 14, 2024. The main organizers of the event were the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, the Main Department for Education of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, the Main Department of Justice of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents and the State Archive of the Mogilev region. More than a hundred teenagers took part in master classes, practical classes, consultations aimed at training in editing, directing, working with archival documents, making films and plots about the inhuman policy of Nazism and preserving the events of the Great Patriotic War in memory.

Two competitions were held within the framework of the media marathon: a competition for educational films and a competition for plots. 32 works from 20 educational institutions of Mogilev and 1 team of Dzerzhinsk were presented. The Dzerzhinsk team was represented by students of the State Educational Institution «Gimnvziya Dzerzhinsk». It included the daughters of the chief accountant of the archive I.Y.Sargan, Maria and Ariana Sargan, the son of the deputy head of the technical control department T.V.Arinovich Gleb Arinovich.

For three days, the children took an active part in events, the main task of which was to preserve historical memory and bring to the consciousness of young participants the historical truth about the war in order to prevent a repeat of terrible events.

On November 14, 2024, the results of the media marathon «Without limitation: the Unconquered» were summed up. The jury was represented by children of the OsNova Journalism School (Novokuznetsk, Russia).

Director of the NGO «Children’s Media Association «Boomerang», member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Candidate of Sociological Sciences N.V.Vasilyeva presented certificates and valuable gifts to the winners of the competition.

In the competition of educational films awarded:
The 2nd place was awarded to the creative teams of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 1 of Mogilev» and the State Educational Institution «Electrotechnical College»;
The 1st place was taught by the Children of the Archive team in Dzerzhinsk.
Certificates and valuable gifts in the story contest were awarded to:
3rd place the Information Bureau team;
The 2nd place was awarded to the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 15 of Mogilev»;
1st place — Educational institution «Mogilev Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs».
