Conducting an event within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign for students of the State Educational Institution «Stankovskaya Marat Kazei Secondary School»

On October 29, 2024, the head of the department for the use of documents and information O.M.Dzhenzhera and the deputy head of the department for the use of documents and information M.V.Garelik held a lesson with the pupils of the children’s camp organized for the period of autumn holidays at the State Educational Institution «Stankovskaya Marat Kazei Secondary School». The children learned about the work of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, its departments, received a visual representation of the carriers of audiovisual information – film and photographic film, gramophone records, magnetic tape, video and audio cassettes. The lesson aroused genuine interest and a large number of questions from the schoolchildren. At the end of the lesson, the students were shown stories about the holidays from the newsreels «Soviet Belarus» and «Pioneer of Belarus».
