The heads and employees of the archival industry took part in the republican campaign «Give the forest a new life!»
The heads and employees of the republican archival institutions took part in the campaign «Give the forest a new life!», which is being held from October 12 to November 12 by the Ministry of Forestry. The goal of the campaign is to restore windfall and fallen forest areas.
The event was attended by the directors of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus A.K.Demyanyuk, the National Historical Archives of Belarus M.M.Glushakov, the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents A.N.Gonchar, the Belarusian State Archive of Literature and Art E.A.Makarenko, the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation A.P.Kurakov, the Belarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Affairs A.E. Rybakov, the Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Documentation D.V.Shabrov, the Central Laboratory for Ensuring the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus V.L.Klyuiko, acting editor-in-chief of the journal «Archives and Records Management» V.V.Adamchik, as well as employees of the republican archival institutions.
Organizational support was provided by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
About a thousand spruce seedlings were planted on the territory of the Dzerzhinsky forestry of the Minsk forestry enterprise on an area of more than a hectare.
Archivists contributed to the restoration of the forest wealth of our country, realizing their responsibility to future generations.
