On October 24, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, an information hour was held at the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.10 of Vitebsk named after A.K.Gorovets» with the participation of a representative of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region on the topic «Vitebsk during the Great Patriotic War»

Head of the Department for the Use and Publication of Documents of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region V.P.Kokhanko told 10th grade students about the events that took place during the Great Patriotic War in Vitebsk and about the complex of documents from the war period stored in the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region. The children were also shown one of the virtual exhibition projects dedicated to the problem of the genocide of the Belarusian population during the Second World War.
