Documentary exhibition at the National Center of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus

On October 11, 2024, the VI Autumn Scientific Session was held at the National Center of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus with the participation of representatives of government agencies and organizations, researchers, and faculty of Belarusian and Russian educational institutions.

As part of this event, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus prepared a temporary documentary exhibition «Formation of Belarusian Statehood». The exhibition presents unique documents from the archive: Manifesto of the Provisional Workers’ and Peasants’ Soviet Government of Belarus of January 1, 1919; Declaration on the Proclamation of Independence of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic (1920); Declaration of the Belarusian People’s Assembly on the Issue of Accession of Western Belarus to the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic (1939); Declaration of the Supreme Council of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic on the State Sovereignty of the BSSR (1990); standards of the State Emblem and Flag of the Republic of Belarus and other documents.
