«Trends in the popularization of audiovisual documents using information technologies»

On October 11, 2024, the head of the department for the use of documents and information of the state archive of film, photo, and sound documents O.M.Dzhenzhera took part in the Russian-Belarusian round table meeting on the exchange of experience, which took place at the state budget institution «Leningrad Regional State Archive in Vyborg». Archives of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation took part in this event.

Oksana Mikhailovna gave a report «Trends in the popularization of audiovisual documents using information technologies» in an online format.

In her report, she spoke about the implementation of the «Open Film Archive» project, dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the projects «In Open Access», «Without Retouching» carried out jointly with the News Agency of the Information Service of the National State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of the Republic of Belarus. The archive made a significant contribution to the implementation of the Boomerang project of the Interregional Public Organization «Children’s Creative Association».

These projects not only demonstrate the genre and thematic richness of the archive’s funds, their main goal is moral and patriotic education, the formation of principles of citizenship, and an understanding of the historical events that took place on the territory of our country.
