About the participation of the institution «State Archive of the Gomel region» in the patriotic event

On October 11, 2024, a patriotic event «Proud of our fellow countrymen» was held in the Belitsky Recreation Center, dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Novobelitsa from the Nazi invaders. Within the framework of the event, Andrei Nikolaevich Sushchevich, a member of the Belaya Rus party, director of the State Archive of the Gomel Region, familiarized the participants with historical documents of this period.

The event was also attended by the chairman of the district organization «Belarusian Union of Officers», a member of the Belaya Rus party Yuri Lebedev. In his speech, he emphasized the preservation of peace in the difficult modern realities of the time and recalled the importance of Victory, which our countrymen had won in the distant years.

The creative performances of dance groups, the author’s performance of songs on military themes and the reading of poetry created an atmosphere of deep respect and worship for the heroism of the Heroes.
