Unified Open Day
On September 12, 2024, as part of the Unified Open Day, dedicated to the Year of Quality, the State Archives in Orsha opened its doors to all those wishing to get acquainted with its activities.
On this day, the following were presented to the attention of visitors: an exhibition of archival documents «Orsha Flax Mill. The Path to Quality and World Recognition»; a virtual exhibition «Chronicle of the Dubrovenskaya Land», archive specialists held a master class on cardboarding files and forming files into bundles.
The guests learned about the composition of the stored funds, got acquainted with the work of the reading room, visited the archive storage facilities, and consultations on archival affairs and office work were held for representatives of organizations. At the end of the meeting, the guests were able to ask questions of interest and receive answers from archive specialists.
