On the visit to the historical and cultural complex «Grodno Fortress – Partisan Camp» by an employee of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

On September 1, 2024, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the head of the department of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» Svetlana Bartsuleva visited the historical and cultural complex «Grodno Fortress – Partisan Camp», which is located in the agro-town of Korobchitsy, Grodno region.

Svetlana Bartsuleva saw a real dugout of the detachment commander, a printing house, a medical unit, a weapons workshop, a forester’s hut, a partisan school and a canteen. Here, more than half a century ago, our ancestors lived, fought and hoped for victory. She also inspected an anti-aircraft position from the First World War, where soldiers repelled attacks by enemy aircraft, and visited the combat forts of the Grodno Fortress.
