On the visit of the Mogilev Regional Museum of Local History named after E.R. Romanov by the employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

On August 21, 2024, employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» visited the exhibition: «History of the Region of the Soviet Period (1917-1945) in the Mogilev Regional Museum of Local History named after E.R. Romanov» as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

The expositions of the section of the Great Patriotic War attract special attention. They show all the tragedy and courage of the Soviet people who, despite everything, were able to defeat fascism. The expositions are filled with a huge number of photographs, original documents and items that belonged to the heroes of the Mogilev defense, underground fighters and partisans, soldiers-liberators.

Numerous items of weapons and reconstructions are also presented. A special hall is dedicated to the heroic defense of Mogilev.
