On August 15, 2024, the Director of the Archive Svetlana Gennadyevna Svirko held an information day on the topic of «Information hygiene or how not to become a victim of disinformation» at the Zonal State Archive in Lida. The Director of the Archive drew the attention of the archive employees to the availability of the Internet for Belarusians, introduced the phenomenon of the «information bubble», and gave examples of fake information. She spoke about information hygiene (how to distinguish a bot from a person), administrative and criminal liability in the Republic of Belarus for the dissemination of false information.
