Participation of the National Information Agency of Belarus in providing assistance for the school year

On August 14, 2024, the Director of the National Information Agency of Belarus Mikhail Glushakov and the Head of the Scientific Reference Department of the Information Retrieval Systems Department Natalia Mikhalevich visited the Smolevichi District Social and Pedagogical Center, which coordinates the activities of educational institutions of the Smolevichi District to identify and provide social and pedagogical assistance to minors and their families who find themselves in difficult life situations. The purpose of the visit was to hand over school supplies for the new school year and present gifts to children.

As part of the national events aimed at providing assistance in preparing for the new school year for children from large families, families with disabled children, low-income families, as well as orphans and children left without parental care living in children’s boarding institutions, foster and guardian families, family-type children’s homes, the NIA of Belarus purchased notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers, drawing albums, brushes, diaries and other school supplies.
