In the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region, as part of the events for the 30th anniversary of the institution of presidency in the Republic of Belarus, the event «State Archive of the Vitebsk Region: 30 years of journey (1994 – 2024)» was held

On July 18, 2024, in the reading room of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region, a meeting was held with representatives of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions, as well as representatives of institutions and employees of enterprises in Vitebsk on the topic «State Archive of the Vitebsk Region: 30 years of journey (1994 – 2024)», which tells about the development of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region in 1994 – 2024, during the formation and development of the Institute of the Presidency in Belarus.

Over the current time, the network of archive storage facilities has expanded from one to 4 buildings, each of which has undergone repairs and/or reconstruction. Mobile shelving was installed, restoration workshops were equipped, 2 professional scanners were purchased, etc., which made it possible to significantly increase the volume of work performed.
