Participation of the National Historical Archive of Belarus in the international scientific and practical conference

On June 12, 2024, the head of the department of research and publication activities of the National Historical Archive of Belarus Sergei Ryndin took part in the international scientific and practical conference «The Great Patriotic War in the fate of the Belarusian people (to the 80th anniversary of the Belarusian strategic offensive operation «Bagration» and the liberation Belarus)». The event was organized by the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University.

Researchers from Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and China spoke at the conference. S.Ryndin presented the report «Foreign prisoners of war on the territory of Belarus: the experience of the First World War» at the section «Belarus and the world on the eve of the Great Patriotic War».
