As part of the «Archives to School» campaign, an excursion to BSAMLA

On May 31, 2024, as part of the republican action «Archives to School», a tour of 4th year students (group No. 3) of the specialty «document management» of the correspondence course of education at the Faculty of History of BSU took place at the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLA).

Director E.A. gave a lecture on the activities of BSAMLA on the creation and development of a system of scientific reference apparatus of the archive-museum, forms of use of archival documents. Makarenko.

Leading archivist of the department of information, publication and use of documents T.V. Kekeleva spoke about the history of the creation of BSAMLA and the composition of the funds’ documents. During a visit to the archives, students were able to plunge into the atmosphere of history and see the most valuable artifacts.

The students discovered a lot of new and interesting things that will be useful to them in their future work.
