May 29, 2024, as part of the «Open Film Archive» project. We brought this day closer as best we could,» a screening of the documentary film «Liberation» was organized for the heads of the organizational and personnel work structures of the Grodno city and district executive committees.

Employees of the State Archive of the Grodno Region told those present about the project prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. After viewing archival footage demonstrating the liberation of Belarusian cities, the event participants shared their impressions of watching the film and noted the importance of preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War.
