The institution «State Archive of the Mogilev Region» held a seminar on the topic: «Modern requirements for the organization of office work and the work of court archives»
On May 23, 2024, a seminar was held for archivists and persons responsible for the archives of the Mogilev regional court and 23 district courts of the region on the topic «Modern requirements for the organization of office work and the work of court archives».
The seminar was organized by the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» together with the Mogilev Regional Court on the basis of the Mogilev Regional Court.
The seminar covered issues related to the new edition of the instructions for record keeping, the procedure for developing a nomenclature of court cases, its coordination and approval, the procedure for conducting an examination of the value of management documentation and court cases, drawing up final documents based on the results of scientific and technical processing of documents, the procedure for destroying documents and files that are not subject to storage, transfer of documents to the organization’s archive and for permanent storage in the state archive, liability for violation of legislation in the field of archival affairs and office work and a number of other topical issues.
State archive specialists answered questions from court representatives.
The attention of the participants is drawn to the need to subscribe to the industry scientific and practical journal «Archives and Records Management».
