As part of the republican action «Archives for School», on May 24, 2024, a workshop was held at the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region for participants in the pilot project «Young Archivist»

The purpose of the seminar was to familiarize the project participants with the party complex of documents from the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region. Leading archivist S.N.Myasoedova told novice researchers about the information potential of documents of the party complex, leading archivist A.V.Silina demonstrated the main archival reference books used to identify documents from the funds of the former archive of the Vitebsk regional committee of the Communist Party of Belarus. The head of the department of use and publication of documents V.P.Kokhanko, together with the head of the department of history and cultural heritage of the Faculty of Humanities and Language Communications of VSU named after P.M.Masherov, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor A.N.Dulov, outlined a range of potential topics for student research within writing term papers and dissertations.

On each topic, the «young archivists» received individual consultations from S.N.Myasoedova.
