The screening of the film «Liberation» was organized by Molodechno archivists at the Volozhin cinema

Archivists of the institution «Zonal State Archives in Molodechno» organized a screening of the documentary film «Liberation» in the «Yunost» cinema in Volozhin. The spectators were students of grades 8-10 from high schools in the city.

A film created by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents and under the leadership of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the Department of Archives and Records Management within the framework of the republican project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could», aroused genuine interest among the event participants. The project is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

After a visual excursion into history, schoolchildren were able to ask exciting questions of a historical nature to representatives of the archive and learn more about how the newsreel was created.

The management of the cinema, in turn, thanked the guests for the premiere screening and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation.
